'Non-competitive' salaries making it difficult to fill nursing teaching roles

Sixty percent of nursing schools in South Carolina reported at least one faculty job opening in fall 2020, and more cite non-competitive salaries as the "single most critical issue regarding faculty recruitment" than any other factor, according to survey responses obtained by WYFF News 4 Investigates. The American Association of Colleges of Nursing conducts the survey at the beginning of each school year.
