Nurses decry short staffing at SLU Hospital

About 40 registered nurses and supporters marched and chanted up and down Grand Avenue for an informational picket on Monday, Sept. 9, 2019, outside St. Louis University Hospital. The group, sponsored by the National Nurses Organizing Committee, says short staffing of both nurses and ancillary staff puts patient care at risk and contributes to a high-turnover rate.
