Wayne Riley to lead New York medical center

Former Meharry Medical College CEO Dr. Wayne J. Riley has been named president of an academic medical center in Brooklyn, N.Y. that's part of the State University of New York system. He will start work at SUNY Downstate Medical Center on April 3, earning $500,000 a year from the university system plus a campus foundation salary of $175,000.
